Make up Your Mind Please

What is with peoples sometimes?  
Some wackiness went on while my mom was away, so let me explain it to all of you.
Do you all remembers my cousin puppy Jake?
After Aunt L and Uncle B brought this cutie patootie home last week they decided to change his name AND for four whole days he didn't even have one! They talked it over and talked it over and could not make up their silly minds.  First his name was Jake, then it was Gibbs (after the NCIS guy, mom's personal favorite), then it was Lincoln and so on and so on but they just couldn't decide what to calls him.  FINALLY they puts all of  "his names" (and some added suggestions from their daughter) into a hat and pulled out the winner. So Jake aka Gibbs aka Lincoln is now..... 
Thatcher
 
Aunt L and Uncle B lives near the John Boyd Thacher State Park  here in upstate NY so that is what they named him after, with a minor correction in the spelling of course.
 
Mom was on her way home from an overnight conference yesterday (Yes she left me AGAIN, that's why no Saturday bloggie post) so on the way home, she stopped by to meet the little guy and took some new pictures of him.

Here he is playing with one of my favorite little puppy toys that I gave him! 
Hi I'm Thatcher!  Nice to meet all of you!
 This is me trying to wait patiently until the time comes when I gets to meet and greet my new puppy cousin Thatcher.  I sure hopes I don't have to wait to much longer, being patient is not an easy thing for a boxer puppy to do.

    Thatcher fits him to a tee!!! Very original and just the right one. Mom and Dad hada time naming me too. Mom says they named my human sister quicker than they did me. LOL Tells you who is top cat in this house. LOL Just kidding human sister.

    If you think 4 days without a name is bad...How about 5 weeks. Uncle Puppy still doesn't have a name his mom...Doggy Nanny just can't choose one. We have just been calling him Uncle Puppy...Silly pawrents can never make up thier minds. BOL

    I kind of wish they'd kept Jake. One of the dogs that came before me in the family here was named Jake and from what I understand he was a wonderful guy. Thatcher is a pretty cool name, though, I have to admit.

    So glad you linked your current post to this one or else I wouldn't know who this little Thatcher guy was! I've been unable to get to everyone's blogs as of lately b/c of my computer issues (but now they are fixed thanks to Doctor Staples). Thatcher is the purrfect name for that little guy but I'm sure he's not going to stay little fur long!
