(Stay safe too)
For all of my furiends who don't celebrate the holiday, have a Happy Sunday!

OK now onto the Name Game...

Here is my Name Game story!

Once upon a time, WAY before I was even born my mom and dad decided that they wanted to get a puppy.  My mom always wanted a female yellow lab but my dad always wanted a female boxer, in the end my dad convinced my mom that they should gets a boxer, mom said OK as long as she gots to name hers.
Soon after thats they got my sissy and my mom named hers Samantha Rae.  Rae is my mom's youngest sister's middle name.  After my sissy Samantha crossed over the Rainbow Bridge the time came for mom and dad to gets another puppy and of course mom needed no convincing this time that a boxer puppy was the way to go.  Mom picked the name Maggie because she liked it AND it sounded good with her other sister's middle name Mae :)

This is me on March 28, 2009 my Gotcha Day!
and here I is today.... Maggie Mae!
TaDa!!

So that is my Name Game story...I hopes you liked it.
Woofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae

  3. Maggie Mae look at your gorgeous puppy face on March 28, 2009. BTW March 28, 1928 is the day my Mom's Mom was born!!! Great day to get a great puppy.

We love that your Mom used her sister's names for middle names. Mom thought maybe Maggie Mae came from Rod Stewart's song.
    Happy 4th to you all,
    Madi and Mom

  7. I can't believe you and Mayzie have the same Gotcha Days! You remind me of each other in some ways, too. And your names both start with M. Too many coincidences to be plausible? Has anyone ever seen you two together at the same time?

Well, conspiracy theories aside, I think that Maggie Mae is a super name. It's pretty like you and sounds like it's full of sunshine like you. Love it.

    wags, Lola

Pee S - My Gotcha Day is only about a week off from yours and Mayzie's. Same year, too. Next year we could pawty all week maybe.

  28. Hi Maggie Mae!

    You have the sweetest smile!

We had a doxie friend named Maggie Mae. She looked just like Hailey except she had short hair. Maggie lived on a farm and didn't come home from playing one day. We hope that someone found her and is taking good care of her.

    Lots of luv & Kisses
