I has another furiend named Maggie Mae and her is a boxer too! 

Dis Maggie Mae was adopted from Legacy Boxer Rescue in Hurst Texas.

Anyhoo, Maggie Mae sent me a pmail and she needs us to helps her out wif something, here is some of what she said...

Hi Maggie Mae.  My mom's been following you on your doggy bloggy for a while now and is finally going to say hi for me.  It sucks not having opposable thumbs!  You do lots of good works for lots of dogs, and I hope you can help out some boxer doggies in Texas.  You know lots and lots of peoples and they all seem to like doggies!   I was rescued and then adopted from Legacy Boxer Rescue in Hurst, TX by my momma and daddy.  They loved me so much, they took in a foster boxer and named him Mulligan, because he needed a second chance (and Daddy LOVES golf).  When he came to live with us in June 2010, he was about 2 years old and weighed 39 pounds.  Yeah, he was skinny but Momma fattened him up with lots of good food and lots of lovings.  They saw how much I loved him and decided to adopt him too!  So now I have my best buddy in the whole wide world living with me!  Here's what Handsome Man Dog (that's what Momma calls him) looked like when he first came to us and what our pack looks like today:

Maggie Mae and Mulligan is gonna be the month of June, cause that's when Mulligan came to be a part of Maggie Mae's family!

There is a contest going on at one of our doggie day cares in the area that we board some of the foster dogs when another LBR foster family can't watch them.  We like to scratch each others back as much as we can, but sometimes life gets in the way!  Our friends at Dogs Unleashed Daycare are offering our boxers FREE boarding in exchange for "Likes" on their page. We get a $100 credit for every 100 likes they get in the month of October.  We already raised $200 of boarding credit (we have lots of friends that helped us get over 200 likes for Dogs Unleashed), and since they are so sweet and give us a BIG discount, that's 20 days of boarding and day care!!!  Here's their link in case you can help us out.  All you have to do is "Like" their facebook page.  And tell all your friends please!  It doesn't cost anything but a little time.
