  16. Great advice , Maggie Mae. All that medical stuff is very important and we would also be very happy if there were burgers and beer available if we were hurt or sick too. Our friends at The Thundering also had two good suggestions after their experience with Kodiak getting hurt while they were away on vacation. Always know where there is a vet's office in your vacation area, and have a plan for being able to transport your pet on foot if the pet is not able to walk and you are not close to your vehicle.

Thanks for a very informative post on being safe.

  17. You know, coz mom can't carry 2 furst ade kits on hikes coz it take up too much room, we share the same furst ade kit. You should see mom with vetwrap on! And when I get a scrape she spritzes her Bactine on ME! Unfortoonately, I has to settle fur chickun jerkey instead of cheeseburgers (DROOL!) but at least I dussn't has to share that with mom, BOL.
