In Memory

In memory of our dear sweet furiends from The Houston Pittie Pack, who crossed the bridge together in a tragic house fire.
 Coco Chanel
Thankfully, Sandra and the rest of her family survived along with two of our furiends.
We love you Bella and Brinks and your people and we will help you in any way we can.
A Chip-In account has been created to help Sandra and her family.
Please keep all of them in your thoughts and prayers.
Maggie Mae and Max

  12. Hey Maggie Mae & Max.
Thanks for the sweet post. I'm pretty much at a loss for words on this now...except to say that everyone should be so lucky as to live in a community as loving and supportive as Blogville.
    Grr and Woof,
    Sarge, COP

  13. That's a beautiful tribute!

We'll be saying lots of prayers for you on Monday, Max and sending a ton of boxer vibes your way!

  14. This is a beautiful tribute! I've been thinking about the Houston Pittie Pack nonstop ever since I read about the tragic fire. Last night I hugged my boys a little tighter as I said a prayer for Sandra and her family.

  15. Blogville is absolutely the best place in the world...oh my gosh we've raised 217% of what we wanted...God bless everyone and Houston Pittie Pack blogville is sending you a big hug.
    Madi and Mom

  16. We just chipped in a small amount. We cannot believe the tragedy.

At least kendra went to the bridge snuggled in the arms of the one person she loved, though too sick to register much of what was going on around her. So sad for those pups in that terrifying ordeal.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  17. Their sweet faces make my mom all leaky every time she looks at them. I just don't know how they could all be gone to the Bridge all at one time. My heart hurts.

Thank you for a Most Beautiful tribute, Maggie Mae.

    Gentle wiggles & wags,

  18. Such a beautiful post... We are heartbroken over the tragic loss of so many sweet pibble sugars. We can't even imagine what their family is going through at this time.

    Pugs & Kisses,

    Yoda, Brutus & Ellie

  19. This was such a nice tribute - each of those pups was very special to Sandra and all of us too. Mom had a soft spot for Tiger - such a cute face.

We are still dealing with the immensity of this tragedy and are in awe of the support they are receiving from the blog world. It is so wonderful to see how so many are willing to help.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  20. We heard about this Friday morning and have been in shock since. A truly sad time for Blogville and the Pittie Pack family. Our prayers go out to them.

  21. Sad. Just so sad. :(

    Woofs & hugs, <3

    ~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)

  22. Run free at the Bridge, Pittie Pack! I'm so sorry this happened to you. :( I'm in awe of how much Blogville banded together for them, though! That's impressive.

  23. We were stunned to learn the tragic news. Our thoughts are with Sandra and her family. We can not imagine their pain.
