Look at all the pretty birds that came to our house yesterday and decided to stay in our side yard! Mom was very happy to see this flock of birds, she had seen them around our neighborhood and was really hoping that they would stop by and visit with us. The good news is that they will be with us until Friday, the bad news is I can't play with them (if you look closely at the picture you will see me on the driveway, mom says that's as close as I will be able to get to our yard guests). Another reason mom likes these birds is that they are the colors of her favorite football team in the whole world the MINNESOTA VIKINGS!!! Now mom just has to decide whose yard they will visit next......

The flamingos may look blue in the top picture but they really are purple! This is a fundraising event for our local American Cancer Society Relay for Life campaign and a very fun way to raise money to help fight cancer!
