Meeting Thatcher

Maggie Mae's mom here!
The time had finally come for Thatcher (14 weeks old now) and Maggie Mae to meet.
Since Maggie Mae can be a little "rude and bossy" when she meets new dogs AND her style of play is rather energetic to say the least, my aunt and I kept both of them on leashes and did not let them interact with each other too long.
You will be happy to hear that Maggie Mae did very well with Thatcher and was very tolerant of him...yay!
I think they will become best of friends in no time. The quality of a few of the pictures that I managed to take is poor, due to me trying to hold onto Maggie Mae and take pictures at the same time,
but I wanted all of you to see how big
the little guy is now.
Mom..is my new cuzin Thatcher coming over today? I will be on my best behavior beclaws you know I can be a little bossy when I meet new pups and he still is a baby. :)
Hiya Maggie Mae, I am Thatcher!
Let's play!!
Oh boy here he comes...
...must behave, must behave, must behave...
I likes him!
Bitey Face Time!
Who is this coming over now Maggie Mae?
This is my grandpaw!
Thatcher,  can you believes he is 89 years old?
That was fun :)
Time to go, bye Maggie Mae
Bye Thatcher...I will see you again soon!
I did good today...huh mom?

Woofs and Licks,
Maggie Mae

  1. Yowser Maggie he is a big lad and way to go you one being so gentle with him, I suspect you two will be great friends for a long time to come. Bitey face time with bigger dogs scares me a bot as I only have a teeny little head...........bol but I would be ok with you doing it though.

Can't wait for him to grow bigger so you can go all out to play with him the next time..

  3. He looks like he's going to grow up to be a real fun doggy to do zoomies with and such. But I just want to know one thing? What's wrong with being bossy? I'm bossy. It seems to me that works fine because I know best most of the time. I'm sure you do, too.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  6. Maggie Mae we are extremely proud your your welcoming position of sitting...that must have made that precious puppy Thatcher feel good. He was a little excited to see you and you remained a lady!! Excellent. You know Maggie Mae he might actually be bigger than you in a few months so it was very wise of you to display good manners. Your Grandpa is a very handsome gentlemen!!! You have lots of folks to love you.

  17. Awww...Thatcher is SO cute! You guys are going to be Most Best buds, for sure! Oh, Brudder Ranger just HATES puppies! He thinks they're very much rude and have too much energy. I likes 'em pretty good but they DO need to be taught some manners now and again, you know?

Anyways, you did VERY good, Maggie Mae! I can't wait to see Thatcher as he's growing up. (And your granddad is just as cute as pie!)

But I'm furry tolerant and put up with a lot of "in your face/bitey face "Avalon-ness!" Pretty soon, you'll both have a ball together!
