Updated-A Message From Max

Briefly, I am going to see the surgeon on Monday.  Based on his review of my x-rays he is not sure that I have a "joint mouse" It may be a torn ACL or a problem with my sesamoid bone.

But I am not a priority now, please go over to Mayzie's blog and read the devastating news about our friends at the
Houston Pittie Pack
the human family is safe but they have suffered a tragic loss and many of our dear sweet friends have crossed over the bridge.
Our hearts are breaking for them.

If ever there was a time for the Power of the Paw and for Blogville to unite to help one of our own it is now.

Hello Everybody
I just want to say thank you for being so kind to me.  Maggie Mae told me that all of her friends in Blogville are the best in the world and she was right.
We are still waiting for a call from the V-E-T so as of now we don't have an update on what is going to happen to me. Mom will call him today but don't worry I am doing OK,  mom, dad and Maggie Mae are taking good care of me.
This week has been real busy for mom, besides all the Christmas preparation, she has been working on stuff for her church, the health clinic she volunteers at, plus having to be out of the house every night this week so she asked me to apologize to all those who we have not had a chance to visit with.
When we have some news, we will definitely let all of you know.
Thanks again for being my friends.
Your Buddy,
Max

  11. I am so sorry that your hips are bothering you, you are going to be ok I really bet. Mom has had some success giving some of the oldsters here Duralactin which she got at the vet, in addition to their glucosamine, maybe that could help too

  20. I've seen the news about the Houston Pittie Pack all over the internets this afternoon. So sad and I can't even begin to imagine their pain.

The worst part of it all for me is that Miss Shelby had such a difficult life. She was doing so well and she had to die in such a tragic way. Just breaks my heart. I've got a candle lit for them now.

My dad's ancient beagle had a torn ACL. We wanted to do surgery to correct it but the vet said she was too old. The vet prescribed pain meds for her and my dad had to try and make sure she wasn't active for awhile. She did get better but it never fully healed.

I hope the vets figure out what they need to do to make Max all better.

  21. Max, we were thinking maybe a torn ACL too, but whatever it is, we hope you will be better soon.

We are all devastated here with the tragic news about the Pittie Pack. Words are hard to come by. Mom says it is time for good thoughts and prayers for Sandra and her family. We are in awe of the Blogville support. It certainly makes us feel very good to be a part of such wonderful peeps and furries.
